Project Sales Specialist Description:

As a Project Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue through strategic selling, building relationships with potential clients and managing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This role requires a thorough understanding of the construction industry, including project management, material procurement, EPA and governmental regulations, and market trends. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation.
  • Cultivate & maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, meeting those needs effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our different Divisions and each of their competitive advantages.

Sales Strategy:

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies that align with overall company goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to refine the sales approach.

Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our products/services to potential clients.
  • Address client inquiries, provide product information, and offer tailored solutions to address their specific needs.

Proposal and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and present detailed proposals that outline scope, pricing, timelines, and benefits.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients while ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions.
  • Regularly update sales forecasts and report progress to sales management.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering with business degree, marketing, technical trade experience.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in a construction project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and the sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term internal and client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Salary: Based upon experience (negotiable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

  • HVAC sales: 4 years (Required)
  • Project Sales: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
